Materials and Methods: The keywords identified within the scope of the study were scanned in Web of Science, PubMed, and Google Scholar indices. Participant characteristics, study designs, intervention content, evaluation methods, and publication results were reviewed according to the inclusion criteria of the scoping review. Publications were scanned as title, abstract and full text, respectively. Of the 1863 publications, 11 met the inclusion criteria and were reviewed in detail.
Results: This study revealed that studies were conducted with adults with dysphonia as a result of voice misuse, integrated voice therapies were performed in group voice therapies, subjective assessment methods were frequently used, and group voice therapies contributed positively to the voice parameters of the participants in most of the publications.
Conclusions: Although this scoping review demonstrated the effectiveness of group voice therapies for various dysphonias, further evidence-based studies should be conducted. Further clinical studies on the effectiveness of group voice therapies on voice parameters should be conducted, followed by a systematic review of publications.
