Intraorbital abscess is a serious complication of sinusitis with the danger of permanent loss of vision. A 13 year-old girl presented with complaints of having had swelling of the left lids, hyperemia and headache for 2 days. In the paranasal computed tomographic scans were diagnosed as left intraorbital abscess following bilateral ethmoid and frontal sinüsitis. On ophthalmolojic examination vision and fundus control were normal. Abscess which is in the superomedial of the left orbit was drained surgically with external approach and patient was treated intravenously with ampicillin-sulbactam . The symptoms were disappered 1 week postoperatively.

In repeat CT scan pansinüsitis findings continued therefore functional endoscopic sinus surgery was performed. The patient was followed during postoperative 6 months and no symptom was seen. Keywords : Intraorbital Abscess, Sinusitis
