THE EFFECT of APPLICATION of INTERNAL NASAL SPLINT for SEPTOPLASTY on EUSTACHIAN TUBE FUNTION

We have investigated the preoperative and postoperative eustachian tube function of 26 patients who had nasal packing and another 20 patients who had internal nasal splint after septoplasty by acoustic impedansmetry. We have statistically observed significant eustachian tube dysfunction for nasal packing group but no statistically difference for the internal nasal splint group.
