RUMSAY HUNT SYNDROME WITH POLYCRANIAL NEUROPATHIES

³Sungurlu Devlet Hastanesi, Kulak Burun Boğaz, Çorum, Türkiye Facial nerve paralysis seen within Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is known to improve in a longer period than Bell's paralysis and frequently with sequelae. Factors like diabetes and elderly age group influence the improvement period negatively. The presented case is a seventy two year old woman with polycranial neuropathies diagnosed as Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. In addition to her diabetes, systemic hypertension and older age, the patient was a faster and better responder to the appropriate treatment than expected. Keywords : Ramsay Hunt Syndrome
