Results: T-ABR test was performed to 130 newborns in our hospital. 1 (0.76%) newborn girl was referred to third degree hospital because of the failure in T-ABR test two times. T-ABR test was performed to 2341 newborns in Children and Obstetry Hospital . 2 (0.1%) newborn girls were referred to third degree hospital with a diagnosis of congenital hearing loss. T-ABR test was performed to 457 newborns who have risk factors. 20 (4.4%) newborns were referred to third degree hospital with a diagnosis of congenital hearing loss that failured from the test.

Conclusion: T-ABR test is very important in diagnosis of newborns with congenital hearing loss. We think that T-ABR test must perform before discharging of newborns. Keywords : Hearing loss, Hearing screening, Auditory brainstem response
