Although concha bullosa is the most common anatomic variant of the middle turbinate, ıt is not a common finding that complete occlusion of nasal passage by ıts mucocele or pyocele formation. The differential diagnosis of a massive mucocele or pyocele of the middle turbinate from other intranasal masses can be greatly faciliated by intranasal endoscophic examination and advanced radiographic techniques like computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. We treated a concha bullosa pyocele in a 47 year-old man, leading to complete obstruction of the left nasal cavity, by endoscophic surgery. Keywords : concha bullosa, pyocele, intranasal mass
