STATIC SUSPENSION TECHNIQUE WITH FASCIA LATA FOR FACIAL NERVE PARALYSIS REANIMATION

Facial paralysis patients often present with varied secondary problems which leads to a multitude of possible algorithms in their treatment. In cases where the patient is unresponsive to, or cannot undergo, medical treatment, facial reanimation techniques are often employed. Used in the proper situation with the proper category of patient, static facial suspension methods are extremely effective. In this report, we discuss the alternative static suspension techniques and describe our method for the successful reanimation of a facial paralysis patient.
