Ufuk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, KBB AD, Ankara, Türkiye IgA nephropathy, the most common form of primary glomerular disease in the world, is an immune-complex–mediated glomerulonephritis defined immunohistologically by the presence of glomerular IgA deposits accompanied by a variety of lesions identified histopathologically in the absence of systemic disease. Although primary IgA nephropathy was considered a benign condition for many years, it is now we clearly know that a large number of cases eventually progress to renal failure. It is important that patients undergo further investigations at an early stage despite the tendency.

Herein, we report a patient with an Ig A nephropathy desease who have recurrent acute tonsillit with hematuria episodes which was underwent tonsillectomy. Keywords : Ig A Glomerulonephritis, tonsillectomy
