SUGGESTIONS FOR AN EFFECTIVE JOURNAL CLUB IN POSTGRADUATE OTOLARYNGOLOGY TRAINING

Journal club is a learning method that's about 200 years old. The initial purpose of journal club was implementation of recent knowledge to the patients. The purpose and implementation method of the journal club has changed over the years.

In this review, authors describe ways of organising an effective journal club. In addition, suggested new ways of using the articles during postgraduate otolaryngology training. This review will be helpfull for clinical educators to revise the journal club process and develope an effective journal club for postgraduate otolaryngology training. In addition, a guide for residents that's titled as "How to read article?" and a checklist for evaluating their presentations are included in the review.
