PERIPHERIC PARAPHARYNGEAL SCHWANNOMA ORIGINATED FROM UPPER SERVICAL SYMPHATHETIC CHAIN: A CASE REPORT

Schwannoma is a stiff, capsulated, slow developing and benign tumour which originated from Schwann cells of nerve sheath and neuroectoderm. Schwannoma which originated from servical symphathetic chain is rare, despite it is most commonly seen in the head and neck region. Total excision with various approach to the parapharyngeal region is performed as treatment. In this article, 28 years old women has Schwannoma which originated from servical symphathetic chain in the parapharyngeal region was presented.
