THE OTOLARYNGOLOGIC MANIFESTATIONS OF SCLERODERMA IN A CASE

Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Tıp Fak., KBB & BBC AD., Van, Türkiye Scleroderma, is a systemic and progressive disease which tends to involve different types of organs and systems with abnormal connective tissue synthesis. The disease usually begins with Raynaud’s phenomenon. Death may be seen due to the excessive involvement of organs like heart, kidneys and lungs. In this report a patient with the diagnosis of scleroderma with the complaints of dysphagia and difficulty in opening the mouth is presented with the review of literature.
