Introduction: Pituitary adenomas are benign tumors that make up 10% of intracranial masses. Treatment methods include medical, surgical and radiotherapy. The endonasal transsphenoidal endoscopic method was first introduced in 1963 by Guiot et al., when it was suggested to use the endoscope in the transsphenoidal approach.

Materials and Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 43 patients who underwent pure endoscopic endonasal transsphenoidal surgery in the Neurosurgery Clinic of Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Medicine between 2016 and 2021. Age, gender, admission complaints, preoperative and postoperative laboratory and imaging findings, postoperative complications, and pathological diagnoses were evaluated by examining the files of the patients.

Discussion and Conclusion: It has been presented in the literature that the endoscopic transsphenoidal approach is beneficial in the treatment of sellar and parasellar lesions. The assistive devices used, the experience of the surgeon, the learning curve and the structure of the tumor can also be effective in the surgical outcome.
