1Demiroğlu Bilim Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, KBB ve BBC, İstanbul, Türkiye Three-dimensional (3D) imaging is known as an objective, accurate, and reliable system for quantifying the soft tissue dimensions of the face. Nose and face analysis should be done before rhinoplasty. Clinicians working at the head and face area (otorhinolaryngologists, maxillo-facial surgens, plastic and aesthetic surgeons, orthodontists and prosthodontists) frequently use 3D imaging at preoperative and surgical planning. The method is relatively fast and inexpensive equipment is needed; thus it is easy to use.
