Click stimuli are commonly used in the assessment of Evoked Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABR).The click stimulus has the disadvantage known as the Cochlear Wave Delay. To eliminate this disadvantage chirp stimuli are developed. There are several types of Chirp stimuli (CE-Chirp, Narrow Band (NB) -CE Chirp, Level Specific (LS) Chirp, Level Spesifik (LS) Narrow Band Chirp). When the literature is examined, it has been seen that Chirp stimulus types shorten the test duration and give closer results to behavioral thresholds by providing large wave amplitudes in ABR.Thanks to this feature, it has been shown that clinical use can be spread especially in neonatal hearing screenings and other electrophysiological audiology applications.
